My mom always said breakfast was the most important meal of the day. Today I have a quick and easy breakfast you can put together the night before and just add water when you get to work.
Oh and it tastes good!
4 cups water
2 cups organic rolled oats
2 medium-firm ripe bananas
3 tablespoons natural PB
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 cup chopped dark chocolate (I use Semi-sweet)
I also like to add walnuts
Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan stir on the oats and cook for 3 to 5 minutes. Using a large spoon or ladle, place the oatmeal in 4 individual bowls.
Thinly slice the bananas and place them on top of the oatmeal. Follow by topping each bowl with one-quarter o the peanut butter, brown sugar and chocolate. Mix and enjoy!
On the go:
Place 1/2 cup oatmeal in a tupperware bowl.
Follow by topping each bowl with one-quarter o the peanut butter, brown sugar and chocolate.
Throw in your bag, head to work and don't forget your banana.
Once at work add desired hot water. Thinly slice your banana and place them on top of the oatmeal.
Mix and enjoy!
