Ripe Bar Cold Pressed Margarita

{Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post brought to you by Northern California's Whole Foods Market}

If you've been reading this blog for sometime then you probably know my love for Whole Foods Market runs deep. Well, they added some tasty new products last month and yours truly is testing them out. Since finding out I was pregnant at the beginning of summer I've missed enjoying a cold beer, glass of wine or margarita -- until now! Let me introduce you to my new favorite drink -- Ripe Bar Agave Margarita Juice ($11.99/34 oz.).

Trust me you'll want to pick up a bottle (or two) of the Ripe Bar cocktail juice mixes at Whole Foods during your next shopping trip. Why? Well if you're health conscious like me, you'll love the fact they're not from concentrate and are completely free of preservatives high fructose corn syrup. Plus, the only sweetener used is 100% organic agave nectar, meaning the glycemic index is relatively low.

About Ripe Bar:
100% Natural - Cold-Pressed - Never Frozen - Never Heated

Despite claims to the contrary, you will not find a fresher bar juice on the market. We are NOT shelf stable and NOT made from the typical round of over processed juice, high fructose corn syrup and citric acid. Preservatives? Forget it, we do not use any natural or from a lab.

All RIPE Craft Juices are squeezed cold in our custom-designed juicery from our own premium, fresh fruits and vegetables and never ever from concentrate. We take great care in distributing our products cold so when it reaches you it's as fresh and as close to nature as possible! This is our promise. Creating handcrafted – cold - preservative free bar juices is what we do every day with passion and we hope you love ‘em.

Whole Foods just started carrying Agave Margarita Juice and San Marzano Bloody Mary Juice in August. You can check out the Ripe Bar website for other flavors and fun recipes to help make your next BBQ a healthy hit.

My thoughts:
Typically I would add tequila, but since it's not in the cards right now I enjoyed an ice cold virgin margarita. It was delish -- not too sweet! I plan on trying their other juice mixes in the future. Especially the San Marzano Bloody Mary Juice because who doesn't love a good bloody mary?!

Lime Ricky (aka virgin Margarita)
1 Part Ripe Agave Margarita juice
1 Part sparking water - I prefer San Pellegrino
Garnish with a slice of fresh lime

Enjoy over ice.
